Large Projects

• Hire a professional Irish genealogy researcher to find the Creighton family living in Northern Ireland (likely Co. Antrim) before they emigrated to America in the 1770s. I was thinking I should do this as a co-operative endeavor with others who would be interested in this information so as to spread the cost out to be much more affordable for everyone.


• Acquire more of the back issues for the Clarke County Historical Quarterly. I plan to order the few that seem most applicable to my research, but many of the issues seem to contain valuable background and area information for understanding the lives of our Creighton ancestors in Alabama before, and during, the Civil War.


• A more complete search through the issues of the South Western Baptist newspaper for mentions of Elder Hiram Creighton and his relatives.
